LANARK LANIMER DAY
An ancient celebration held within the Royal Burgh of Lanark on the Thursday between the Sixth and Twelfth days of June annually since the year 1140.

In the event of the Pipes and Drums Royal Scots Borderers being unable to join the Procession, the Pipes and Drums of Coalburn IOR will move to first position. Dumfries Town Band will stay in position. Remaining Bands will move up one position; except the Pipes and Drums of Vale of Clyde, Lanark, who will remain in position, leading the Lanimer Queen-elect.

 
THE OFFICIAL COLLECTION HAS A LEGAL PERMIT. ALL FUNDS RAISED WILL GO TOWARDS THE 2008 PROCESSION.
