An ancient celebration held within the Royal Burgh of Lanark on the Thursday between the Sixth and Twelfth days of June annually since the year 1140.

An ancient celebration holden within the Royal Burgh of Lanark on the Thursday falling between the Sixth and Twelfth days of June annually since the year 1140.
 
09.00 Entries assemble at top of St Leonard Street for Judging
 
Lanimer Day Procession including Lanimer Queen’s State Procession
10.00-11.30 Through the town via St. Leonard St., High St. (North), twice to Cross for Crowning of Lanimer Queen.
 
Castlebank Entertainment
From 12 noon Castlebank Park (Entry £3.00)
 
Lord Cornet’s Foot Procession
13.40 Ladyacre Road to Castlebank
 
Lanimer Afternoon Ride Out - Lord Cornets, visitors and local riders
14.15 From Delves Park via St Patrick's Road to Sunnyside, Nemphlar, Lee Castle and Lockhartbank. Returns via Lee Estate, Nemphlar, The Ditches, Mousemill Road, Clydesholm Brae, St Patrick's Road, Delves Park to Market Corner. Ends Ladyacre Road.
