Lanimer Queen 2010

Carrie Elliot (Kirkfieldbank Primary School)

Carrie lives in Kirkfieldbank with her parents Joe and Catriona, one year old sister Daisy Mae, 9 year old brother Kieren and 7 year old sister Erin (both in the Procession on the Kirkfieldbank Community entry) - and the two family cats, Cheeky and Rocky. Carrie is in P7 at Kirkfieldbank Primary where she has been a pupil for six years, since the family moved from Campbeltown. Previously they were in Lanark where Carrie was a nursery pupil at the Robert Owen Memorial Primary School.

Carrie likes to ride her bicycle and work out on the trampoline in her garden. Most of all she likes writing stories and taking Daisy to the park. Rumour has it that she also likes to lie in bed with a bag of sweets or a "nice packet of biscuits"! Carrie was shocked to discover she would be Lanimer Queen but is now happy and excited about her Lanimer role. We all wish her a very happy Lanimer Week.
