LANARK LANIMER DAY
An ancient celebration held within the Royal Burgh of Lanark on the Thursday between the Sixth and Twelfth days of June annually since the year 1140.
 

Silver Club Draw

On Monday evening Ashley Anderson will present a bouquet to Mrs Margaret Strachan at the end of the Silver Club Draw. Ashley is fifteen years old, she has been a pupil at Stanmore House School since 1993. During term time Ashley stays at school in 'Cedar Cottage' one of the new bungalows which have been built in the school grounds. Ashley's family home is in Carluke and she has two brothers Oliver and Stewart and a sister Julia.

Ashley is a lively girl, she enjoys musical activities, wheelchair dancing, cookery and swimming. Ashley has also enjoyed taking part in Stanmore's contribution to the Lanimer celebrations in part years. She particularly enjoyed performing in the wheelchair dancing team at the Queen's Lanimer Reception.
