An ancient celebration held within the Royal Burgh of Lanark on the Thursday between the Sixth and Twelfth days of June annually since the year 1140.

Stanmore House School Pupil

Hayley Miles will be 14 years old this year and has been a pupil at Stanmore House School for the last 10 years. Mum and brother Scott are looking forward to supporting Hayley with her duties of presenting flowers to the Crowning Lady - Jan Kirkhope, after the ceremony on Lanimer morning. It is particularly apt that Jan herself was a physiotherapist at Stanmore House for a number of years.
