LANARK LANIMER DAY
An ancient celebration held within the Royal Burgh of Lanark on the Thursday between the Sixth and Twelfth days of June annually since the year 1140.

11th June 2009 Lanimer Queen Crowned
Taylor Forrest crowned as Lanimer Queen for 2009 by Mrs Christine McPhail.
 
8th June 2009 Lord Cornet Installed
Kenneth Lean installed as Lord Cornet for 2009, receiving his Sash from Mrs Nessie Carswell and Gold Badge from Mrs Janet Downie.
