LANARK LANIMER DAY
An ancient celebration held within the Royal Burgh of Lanark on the Thursday between the Sixth and Twelfth days of June annually since the year 1140.
 

Lanimer Committee

Membership Application

In applying for membership of the Lanark Lanimer Committee and having their name placed on the membership roll, the obligations of membership are as follows:-

• To attend regularly all General Meetings of the Committee
• To carry out all duties as allocated by the Executive and the appropriate Conveners in connection with Lanimer Celebrations
• To bear equally along with all other members on the roll all financial liabilities of the Committee
• To be called upon to undertake Silver Club duties as part of the Lanimer Committee fund raising activities.

An application for membership must be signed by a Proposer and Seconder, both of whom should be members of four years standing.

New Members will be expected to join one or more of the following Sub Committees:-

• Bands
• Brochure
• Castlebank
• Childrens Treats
• Court
• Entertainments
• Evening Tattoo
• Judges
• Marches
• Procession
• Reception
• Silver Club
