An ancient celebration held within the Royal Burgh of Lanark on the Thursday between the Sixth and Twelfth days of June annually since the year 1140.

	JAMES WATSON, 77 Westport, Lanark - A Local Master Electrician and born in Lanark. He is married with one son, Andrew. As a member of the Lanimer Committee for over 15 years he has been active in the organisation of many Lanimer events. He has been president of Lanark Panto Club for three years. He served in the 2nd Batallion Black Watch and for a period was a member of the Regimental Pipe Band. As a keen musician he has been a member of local orchestras.
