Ernest S. Romer

ERNEST ROMER, this year's Cornet, is well know for his various activities in Lanark. As a member of the Cagebird Society, of the Royal Burgh Community Council, the Guildry, and of the Lanimer Committee (he is joint brochure and reception convener), he is nevertheless known for his and his family's involvement in the Lanimers, which would not be complete without a Romer lorry.
