Danny McGuinness

DANNY McGUINNESS was born and brought up in Lanark, a true Lanarkian. With his brother Lawrence, he runs the family coal business, started by his father, Danny. He has ridden in Lanimers since he was 14 and has ridden in many Border Ridings, often winning honours. He owns a thoroughbred race-horse, appropriately called Coalman. He is a member of Lanark Bowling Club in Waterloo Road. He is supported by his wife Lorna and children Danny 11 and Nicki 6, both of whom are in Lanimers, Danny in the Court.
