LANARK LANIMER DAY
An ancient celebration held within the Royal Burgh of Lanark on the Thursday between the Sixth and Twelfth days of June annually since the year 1140.
 

Lord Cornets' Club AGM

Lord Cornet Elect Kenneth Douglas is welcomed by President Ex-Lord Cornet Gordon McGregor, along with Past President Ex-Lord Cornet Lindsay Craig and Vice President Ex-Lord Cornet David Hughes.

The Annual General Meeting of the Lord Cornets’ Club was held on Tuesday 14th February. Kenneth Douglas was welcomed to the club following his recent selection as Lord Cornet Elect, and he was presented with the Lord Cornet Elect sash and his brass club badge. He will receive his Lord Cornet sash and gold badge during the Shifting of the Burgh Standard ceremony at Lanark Cross on Monday 5th June.
